In Luke 4:38 - 5:11, Peter had seen amazing things. In his own house, his mother-in-law had been instantly healed of a high fever. That night many sick had been brought to his house and Jesus had healed each one. But when Jesus later got into Peter's own boat, and instructed and enabled him to do the unthinkable (catch a record breaking load of fish after vainly trying all day), he knew Him and fell down at Jesus' feet. "For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken" (verse 9). It was then that "they left everything and followed Him."
I'm wondering how is God wanting to "seize us by amazement". Is the unthinkable in the midst of our everyday life?
