Got More Bread?

I saw another revealing sentence toward the beginning of today's reading (John 6:22-40). "Very truly (emphasis His) I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill."

I got to wondering how much I seek God because of wanting provision or help as opposed to just seeking His presence or how I can help others. You see the first motivation (even though He uses it to get our attention) is rather self focused.
The next verse explains further. "Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you". He goes on to explain that this work that we should do is to believe in Him. So believing or trusting in or relying on or cleaving to or having faith in Jesus is the real key to satisfaction. It is not more bread. I kept noticing with our family that many abundant tasty meals (I my opinion) were soon consumed, and you just ended back at square one.
Lord help us to get our satisfaction from believing You whether we have more bread (all the provision we want ) or not.
